Ivy Memorial Baptist Church

The mission of the Recreation Ministry is to be a point of entry, provide connection, and to promote Christian relationships and attitudes through athletics.

Some of the ways we do that include:

Flag Football

We have both an adult and a youth team.  All games are played here at Ivy Memorial on Saturdays.  A schedule can be found here or click here to go to the calendar.  The league is sponsored by the Peninsula Baptist Association and consists of 8 players on each side - 6 guys, 2 girls.  Come and join us whether for one game or the entire season. 

Softball

The season begins in April.  Last year we had a men's team and in year's past have also had a co-ed team.  If you are intested in either, please click here to contact the church office.  Grapefruit games, schedule, etc will be posted as the season draws near.

Soccer

We are praying over the possibility of starting a children's soccer ministry.  If you are interested in joining our team to get this started please contact us.

Open Gym

Each Wednesday following youth bible study, the gym is available for open play from 7:30 to approximately 8:30pm. 

Other sports events we have participated in have included Dodgeball, Golf, Madden Football, etc.
